In order to continue on our growth path, we are currently recruiting a Junior Account Manager based at our Utrecht (NL) office.


What will you be doing?

Account Managers at ValueBlue work in a fast-paced business environment that is very competitive and quota-driven, constantly looking for the opportunity to bring digital transformation solutions to companies.


As a Junior Account Manager at ValueBlue you will:

  • Take responsibility for approximately 50 SME accounts with the goal of driving retention, engagement and customer satisfaction;
  • Work with proven technology, recognised by Gartner with a mention in their magic quadrant;
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their challenges and evaluate how you can help them achieve their goals;
  • Work closely and coordinate daily with your colleagues in Sales, Support, Customer Solutions and the pre-sales teams to ensure the best possible customer experience;
  • Advise and inspire our customers to get the best of the usage of our product – BlueDolphin.
  • Attend ValueBlue sponsored trade shows, conferences and other events as required;
  • Travel to visit customers when needed.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

Strong predictors of success in this role are:

  • 2+ years of experience as account manager or sales rep in a Saas/Tech environment;
  • Experience working with a large set of SME’s;
  • The ability to adopt a consultative approach to sales;
  • Exceptional prospective skills;
  • The ability to be persistent (but not pushy!);
  • Passion for organisational transformation processes;
  • Practical knowledge about extending contracts, negotiating deals and managing sales cycles;
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
