Our innovative collaboration platform BlueDolphin helps CxOs and Architects to plan, design, and manage business transformations, thanks to real-time insights that speed-up decision-making. We currently have customers using our platform across the globe, from corporations like A.S. Watson, Randstad, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Group to financial, pharmaceutical, technology, and consumer organizations such as ABN AMRO, Wakefern Food Corp, and Moss Construction.

For several years our beloved BlueDolphin has been part of the Gartner Magic Quadrant and rewarded with customer choice awards on several occasions. Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with satellite offices in London, New York, and Hong Kong. Thanks to a recent B Series investment now further expansion awaits us.

In order to support our further growth, we are currently recruiting for a Business Development Representative based in our Utrecht office.

The opportunity in short
As BDR at ValueBlue, your job is not only to access quality in prospects but also help us to define what are the qualification factors. You act as an expert and have deeper conversations with our leads instead of only checking if they match the requirements in our list. It’s a great opportunity for those sales professionals that want to move a step further in their careers contributing strategically to our Inside Sales framework and workflow. More importantly, you’ll be prospecting clients while offering a Gartner Magic Quadrant platform that is inside a few of the biggest organizations in the world.

Some of the responsibilities you'd have:

  • Prospecting customers via multiple channels in the UK market;

  • Having deep conversations with CxO’s and senior managers;

  • Learning about Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation;

  • Although the focus is on outbound, you’d also be inbounding leads in your region;

  • Taking time to collaborate on how to improve our skillset as a team and the BDR framework

A strong candidate would fill most of the boxes below:

  • Experience as BDR focused on prospecting/outbound in the IT space;

  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Salesloft or Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator;

  • Your prospecting skills involved various sources such as cold calling, email, LinkedIn, etc;

  • You have at least one case selling people on a solution they’ve never heard of;

  • You're fluent in English, as you will work in the UK market;

  • You believe in and live business development and sales as a team sport;

  • You feel energized by having performance targets and the freedom to decide how to achieve them.

It would be an extra boost to your application if you have:

  • You have experience within Enterprise/B2B SaaS platforms;

  • You have experience in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Software Architecture, and/or Business Transformation.
