In order to continue on our growth path, we are currently recruiting a Junior DevOps Engineer based at our Utrecht office.

What will you be doing?

Your role as a Junior DevOps Engineer is to help ValueBlue build functional systems that reimagine and improve customer experiences. You will support the development and R&D teams to scale cloud programs and create workflow processes.

You will be the go-to person for Automated, monitoring uptime, performance, and preventing issues for the BlueDolphin Platform. We design, plan, automate, document and execute changes to the BlueDolphin infrastructure and our DevOps pipeline.

You will work in a Scrum team that consists of Frontend and Backend Developers, QA, UX Designer, Technical Writer, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. Our teams are international, located in both the Netherlands and Romania. Although we are growing, we're still small enough that anyone joining our team can make a real difference. Besides working on daily tasks, you will also have regular sessions with your peers where you can discuss and share knowledge on ways to implement functionalities or solve issues.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

  • Experience with Azure Infra in a modern (Azure) DevOps environment;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell, specifically the Azure modules, ARM templates, automated scripting tasks;
  • Experience with automating and improving development, testing, infra, release processes (CI/CD) and data pipelines;
  • Experience with agile methodologies as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe;
  • Passion for technology and ability to thrive working on a fast-paced project;
  • Experience working within R&D.
