Job description

Join Us to Drive Sustained Success through Innovation and Change! 🚀

At ValueBlue, we firmly believe that innovation and change are the lifeblood of progress. We aim to enable organizations to achieve long-term success by making innovation and change core to their strategies. We specialize in Enterprise Architecture, and our platform, BlueDolphin, simplifies the process, enabling companies to transform rapidly in the right direction.

We called ourselves the Architects of Change! That has to do with the fact we're in an industry that is used to describe problems and promote insights, not put the action hat and change things for good. We not only diagnose problems but engineer solutions that actively shape the world for the better.

We're hiring an Automation QA to join our hybrid culture at our Utrecht HQ:

An opportunity for microservices automation QA who is tired of being the bug spotter and wants to contribute to the quality standards of a product. You'll be helping us to create the structure of our QA team as well as automating our testing department that is currently working on C# and .Net with Specflow and Cucumber. It's a unique opportunity if you aim to be a more strategic and business-oriented Quality Assurance engineer.

Some of the responsibilities you'd have:

  • Improve and create automation scripts for current and new features in our SaaS platform;

  • Develop a risk-based and continuous testing process for a micro services-oriented system;

  • Work together with product designers to determine quality assurance parameters;

  • Implementing testing procedures and reviewing Quality Assurance reports;

  • Join regular sessions with your peers to improve/guarantee our coding quality.

Job requirements

A strong candidate would fill most of the boxes below:

  • Experience with microservice testing;

  • Experience as automation-focused QA;

  • RestAPI testing experience is also a must;

  • You have worked with tools such as Specflow and Cucumber;

  • You're able to derive test cases from specifications;

  • You have some experience with PlayWright, Cypress, or Selenium;

It would be an extra boost to your application if you have:

  • If you have some exposure to C# or JavaScrip/TypeScript, would be a plus.
