We are currently recruiting for a BDR based in our Utrecht office! 

As BDR at ValueBlue, your job is to find qualified prospects for our market leading software product. You will follow up on inbound leads and targeted outbound activities to gain entry at leading companies and enterprises in Europe. It's a great opportunity to kick start your sales career after internships of for those looking in their first years as BDR/SDRs. Your job goes beyond just qualifying if they are good fit, as you will be asked to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges, so our sales and solution consultants can pick up the process from there.


Some of the responsibilities you'd have:

  • Prospect new customers through inbound and outbound channels in the EMEA market.
  • Engage with CxOs and senior tech managers to discuss their challenges and how ValueBlue can help.
  • Learn about Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation for effective prospect engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and solution consultants to tailor approaches for potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate lead data in Salesforce and track all prospect interactions.

Job requirements

A strong candidate would fill most of the boxes below:

  • Experience as BDR or sales intern for a software solutions company
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Salesloft or Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator;
  • You get energy from prospecting activities such as cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn, etc;


It would be an extra boost to your application if you have:

  • You have any relevant experience in sales around the tech industry.
  • You have experience in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Software Architecture, and/or Business Transformation.
